This nusach, while it developed in Germany, is used currently used predominantly in other countries. German Jewish communities now exist in Washington Heights in New York City and in parts of Europe, such as Switzerland and the Netherlands. The German liturgical tradition is also currently used in England and South Africa, and among some Ashkenazic Jews in Israel. This site includes German ta'amim for Torah and Haftorah readings.
